At the age of eight she was gifted a copy of Superman #75 and everything went downhill from there. She became obsessed with superheroes, graphic novels, videogames and anime. As an adult, she made the mistake of closeting her inner nerd and missed out on a boatload of geek milestones. Little by little she is remedying that.
V's fandom of choice changes constantly, which is why she added Random to her name. But she remains loyal to all of them. Her favorite Doctor is also Matt Smith, though Christopher Eccleston has a special place in her heart. She tends to zone out at the most inappropriate times like J.D. in Scrubs and likes to pretend her car is a TARDIS when she's driving alone for more than an hour. Her greatest desire in life is to go demon hunting with the Winchester brothers while riding in the Serenity spaceship (and its crew, of course) with the Elder Wand as her weapon of choice and a sonic screwdriver as a backup.
Doctor Q is a doctor in the same way that The Doctor is a doctor - that is, he knows some stuff about stuff, but can't heal a broken leg. On the plus side, he is quite knowledgeable about popular culture. He started playing video games when he was two - at least that's what his mummy says. He grew up with the game industry. He is one of the few people who can boast both beating Contra without the Konami Code and of defeating Mike Tyson in Punch Out. Doctor Q is also an anime fan. He first discovered anime at the age of 12 with Spanish language editions of Rurouni Kenshin and G Force, and then grew into Record of Lodoss War, Macross, and Slayers. His favorite newer series include Sword Art Online (the first half anyway) and Attack on Titan. His favorite Doctor is Matt Smith and his favorite companion is Oswin.
Also, something about doctoral studies or something
unimportant like that.
